Mrs. Gibbs' Mother Dies. ,,;
Clearwater, Minn., June 29. Mrs.
Gibbs and I arrived at our destination
Wednesday nieht. We found Mrs.
Gibbs' mother in an unconscious condi
tion in which she lingered till Thurs
day night, when she peacefully passed

j turned to Portland after a two weeks'
sojourn in La Grande. Miss Walton
was graduated from Reed College
early in June am since then has been
visiting Miss Marjoria Silverthorne,
of La Grande, who wa3 also a member
