to visit with Mrs. Wells' sister, Mrs.

Last Saturday was .pay day for
the employees of the O.-W. R. & N.
The pay roll was not only above the
average but a number of the checks
were also far above the average.
The big pay day is a direct result
of the heavy traffic of the past few
weeks and track repair work which
is being pushed along this section of
the road.

the Western Union Telegraph Com
pany of a 'special week-end cable let
ter service for the benefit of Ameri
can military and naval forces serving
in Europe. Jbetters by telegraph and
cable may be sent to American sold

per word, with no minimum charge.
The letters will be handled between
London and points in France by mail.
