ARCADE WALLACE REIP AND MYRTLE STEDMAN AT ARCADE TODAY In presenting Wallace Reid and Myrtle Stedman in the Lasky-Para-mount production "The Prison With out Wtalls" it is felt that this stellar duo will be unusually popular with the amusement seeking public when it will be seen at the Arcade today and tomorrow. The photodramatic adaptation was made by Beuluh M. Dix from Robert Oregon and California STRAWBERRIES For Sunday Dinner Fresh Peas Cauliflower Fresh Asparagus Turnips New Potatoes Radishes Green Onions Head Lettuce Hot House Lettuce Beets Cabbage Now is the time to Make Garden of all kinds -We have Seeds E. MacAlarney's unusual story. Wallace Reid is seen as a prison reform expert, and Miss Stedman as a young philanthropist. The prison expert is sent to discover who is grafting among the prison wardens. While on a tour of inspection the young (philanthropist meets the prison expert and upon his release, still in search of the chief grafter, he is giv en a position as her secretary, only to discover that the man to whom she is engaged is suspected of being the "man higher up." How the supposed ex-convict and the young philanthropist fall in love and how the grafter, jealous, tries to have him done away with and how the guilty are finally brought to jus tice and the true conditions divulged, is brought about in a gripping and unusunl manner. . Wallace Reid, whom the photo dramatic patrons love to see in some kind of a conflict, has three exciting fights; one in the prison, another in a dilapidated tenement and the third happens when he is suspected of rob bing the safe of the girl he lovea. In addition to Miss Stedman, Mr. Roid is supported by nn excellent cast including William Conklin, Billy El mer, Camillo Ankewich and Lillian Leighton. The production is unusually accur ate as to detail. The scenes in the prison are most graphic. Sour Stomach. Miles and other famous soldiers appear in thrill-drama ESSANAY FEATURE Screen Time, 1 hour 15 minutes SATURDAY ONLY ! "HufTalo Bill's Wild West show is coming to town!" i Millions of children throughout the j United States have uttered this shout ' of joy during the past decade; they i have set their alarm clocks and got 1 ten up at daylight to go down to the i station and meet the train; to watch, ; wide-eyed and with open mouths as j the bands of Indians, the cowboys, : buffaloes and horses detrained and j moved to the circus lot where the big j tents were being erected. Later they I saw the big parade, and then gathered m the tent to watch tho famous plainsman and his show. "Buffalo Uiill" is dead now, and his show the tented one will never again be seen. But "Buffalo Bill" has left us u more thrilling show than was ever witnessed before. It is Es sanay's current feature, "Adventures of IhifTalo Bill," which is coming to tho Colonial theatre Saturday. A year or two before Col. Cody died, the picture was filmed by Es-. siinay. It is an historically nccurate account of tho famous Indian fight er's life. It chows "Buffalo Bill" the actual man first in tho early days of his career in the wilderness; it carries him on through his battles with tho Indians showing them just as they occurred through his great hunting trips; and gives intimate Picked Up By The Stroller Villa captured Ojingo, by jingo J The other night in a local theater, someone smelled something burning. Someone else told someone else. Someone else told the manager, who told the chief of the fire department, who told his fireme'n to investigate. Which they did. They went to tho theater and sniffed. And went downstairs in the base ment. And sniffed. And looked at Vivian Martin and sniffed. And a lady glowered at them and said they were very rude to sniff and find fault as it was a very good "fillum' So they went upstairs and sniffed. But they could find no trace of a fire. And they didn't know whether to believe their noses or their eyes. Their noses tried to describe the odor as a cross between a burning rope and a fire in a wool warehouse. So they went down stairs again and concluded if there was a fire it had concealed itself for blamed meaness and they'd have to wait until it 'broke out and then they'd pinch it. Just then a man sitting in the mid dle of the audience put his hand in his pocket to fondle his lighted pipe, burned his hand, found he was on fire, and walked out, leaving a delici ous scent of burning wool behind. He grabbed a glass of water and put out the fire himself. So the firemen weren't needed. This Safely Removes Worms. Worms are a common disease of children and every mother should know their symptoms.
