Gene Becker is owner of a new car.
Motorcycles are becoming quite
numerous in this part of the valley.

Mr. W. S. Wc-sley, of Astoria, who
is on a lecture tour on behalf of
"Good Roads for Oregon," was a
guest at the sanatorium for the week
end. Sunday night he gave an ad
dress on his favorite topic and his
audience was left quite in accord with
Tiis ideas of the appropriatness of
the six million dollar bond. After his
address an interesting debate took
place, informally, in which the Ore
gon farmer, the lecturer, more than
held his own.
