(Spe cial) Chairman Lovett of the Union Pacific railroad board, having volun teered to give virtually his entire time during the war to Red Cross work, today became chairman of the committee which will endeavor to co ordinate all war relief measures to prevent duplication and waste, lhe committee held its first meeting. It has five members 'besides Liovett ana plans enlargement, with representa tives of various war relief organizations. Summing up: "Somewhere in France," co-starring Louise Glaum and Howard Hickman, a dramatiza tion of the last story written by one of the greatest war correspondents in America, in theme, a vampire story of tho spy system on European bat tlefields, presented as a Kay-Bee pro duction on the Triangle program. The work of Charles Giblyn, who directed "Somewhere in France," the new Triangle-Kay Bee feature film, co-starring Louise Glaum and How ard Hickman, is noted for its master ly handling of details without at any point losing sight of the main issue. Louise Glaum, who has the leading feminine role, is also the star in an other recent Triangle release, en titled "The Wolf Woman," while in the now celebrated Frank Kecnan picture, "Honor Thy Name," she had a vampire part that aroused much discussion for its ablo interpretation. Howard Hickman, who in private life is the husband of, Bessie Barriscale, plays opposite Dorothy Dalton in "The Jungle Child," and also has an important part in "The Honorable Algy," the forthcoming Charles Ray picture. (Special) Official recognition has been extended by President Wilson to the Young Men's Christian association as a "val uable adjunct and csset" to the army, although it will continue as a civilian organization. The president's ruling was published today in the general orders of the war department for the information and guidance of officers who are instructed to render fullest assistance and co-operation in the maintenance and extension of the as sociation both in the camp and field. Union Death of Enterprise Woman. Baker, May 23. (Special) Mrs. Viola Scott, wife of R. C. Scott of Enterprise, died mi this city Sunday evening after being stricken very suddenly Sunday afternoon at a sheep camp near her, where her husband was employed. She was 21 years of age. The remains were shipped to Enterprise Monday evening for interment.
