Al St. John the Original Film-Cop
Makes His First Appearance Under
the Banner of Paramount with Kos-
coe "ratty ArnucKle, in inc
Butcher Boy."
The original "film-cop Al St. John,
who has made tho comedy policeman
a famous character, has graduated
from that class and will be seen as a
to-star of Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle,
in the first Af the series of Paramount
Arbuckle Comedies, "The Butcher
Boy," which will he shown at the
Arcade tonight and tomorrow night.
This will be Al's first appearance un
der tho 'banner of Paramount.

sterling example to young actors,
who huve ambitions to be stars. Al
was tho original Keystone "cop."
"Fatty" Arbuckle discovered Al
And took him along with him in

eccentric make-up.
' In "Tho Butcher Boy" Al has out
done himself, pulling many now stunts
that have never before been seen in
screen comedies. To him falling and

matter is that ho has gone through
so much of it that he has few whole
bones in his body and fewer of his
original set of teeth. But with all
the knocks and bumps, ho would rath
