Gerald Tuttle, "Cap", Tuttle, Walter Wade an da few others have just received a car loaa of seed peas, about BOO sacks, and will sow i 500 acres of summer fallow to peas. These pease are not the legumes used as cow feed but are table varieties. Two kinds will be sown the first year, a lone pod and a short pod plant. A manufacturing establishment has con- ' tracted for the entire crop and will use the pens in preparing certain foods for the market. I The May meeting of the Social Aid was held at the Dave Osborn home west of town. Decorations for the j event consisted of a (red, white and blue color scheme which was lollowed not only in the decoration of the , rooms but was also conspicuous in the two course lunch; three color cake and smenrcase, being served by waiters in "Uncle Snm" aprons.
