Clymer and Paul West and prepared for tlie screen "by George Dubois Proctor. Miss Murray has shown that she is one of the most versatile of the younger generation of actresses on the screen. In "The Dream Girl" she scored an emphatic success as a whim sical little waif of tho streets, and in "Tho Plow Girl" ehe more than dou bled her popularity. It is expected that she will score even a greater tri umph in "On Record." In this won derful drama she is seen as a young country girl, ambitious to go into business. She goes to New York but just as she secures a position as pri-1 vato secretary, she is arrested by an over-zealous detective and although, not sent to jail, has her identification ! placed on record. An ' unscrupulous Diego, Tho Lasky company has surrounded Miss Murray with a cast of unusual excellence including Charles Ogle, Gertrude Maitland and Henry Bur rows. It was originally planned to make this production in New York City in order to secure eastern atmosphere, but it was finally decided to make it in tho'west and in order to do this an ex act replica of a well known Now York street, including the subway kiosk and the portals of a famous restaurant wore constructed.
