AMERICAN AMBULANCE
GOES TO FRENCH FRONT

Paris, Feb. 18. (By Mail) A new,
the 39th section of the American
Ambulance Field Service left Paris for
the front today, making 300 American
ambulances and a similar number of
young American men who are succor
ing French wounded behind the firing
lines.
Before the end of March 450 Ameri
can ambulan es and drivers will be at
the disposal of the French army, it
was learned today. One hundred and
fifty additional machines have been
ordered, and men, mostly college stud
ents, have alread yenlisted to have
charge of the new equipment. Most
of the latter are due to arrive in
Fiance soon. The following r.'o those
who entered active service with the
new ambulance section leaving Paris
today:
