"I had not intended to use these garments until wo made the larger cities on our tour," declared Miss Vaughan this morning. "I am so anxious, however, to make this La Grande show an unqualified success from the standpoint of merchandise displayed that I have decided to have the entire wardrobe rushed to me here and it will be displayed evory last garment. I know that we really don't need my wardrobe to make a truly wonderful show here, because I know that the merchants who are partici pating in this show are going to have on hand by next Monday night a splendid showing of fine merchandise that will open the eyes of the thou sands who will crowd the Arcade thea- tor to its capacity. The new colors, the wonderful lines and the beauty of the spring garments are almost be yond description. They must be seen to be appreciated and I will promise to every woman in La Grande that we will show a range of garments that will bo a revelation to the people of eastern Oregon.
