left lust Sunday for Cove, where they
will spend a week with Mr. Heryford's
sister, Mrs. George Conley, and fam-

Mrs. Lulu Thomas visited a few
days here last week with her aunt,
Mrs. E. T. Peeblor.
Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Fields surprised
and. delighted their neighbors by giv
ing a dance Saturday night A good
supper was served. There was quite
a crowd and everyone had a delightful
time.

tertained the Get-together club mem
bers and their husbands ait the home
; of Mrs. Peebler on February 8th.
Various card games and music were
enjoyed, followed by a dainty two
course luncheon. Sickness and busi
ness kept many of the members at
home. Those who attended were: Jir.
' and Mrs. Rex Conaway, Mr. and Airs.

Peebler and Harvey Stansberry.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kinney and
daughters, Lulu and Vinnie, are here
for a three days visit with Mrs.
Kinney's sister, Mrs. Counsel!. Mr.
I Kinney has just disposed of extensive
. holdings both in and around Joseph
and they are on their way to Home-
dale, Idaho, where they will reside,
hoping the change of climate will
'benefit Mrs. Kinney's health.
Mrs. L. W. Drumsmith will be the
next hostess to the Get-together club
at her home, February 22. Mrs. Tom
Sherwood, Mrs. Clyde Hopple and
Mrs. Luther Geiger are new members,
having joined when the club met at
Mrs. Frank McClure's.
Miss Martha Miller, who has been
teaching a school near Elgin this win
ter, came up Saturday for a visit with
home folks.
