Mrs. Harry Grant went home today from the Grande Ronde hospital. Sol Daum, a prominent motion pic ture man of Portland and manager of the "liluebird" attractions, is in La Grande today. The well-known hospitality of the Elks was displayed to good advan tage last evening when they enter tained the participants in their recent show at their home. About 25 couples were present and all pronounced it "the best ever." Refreshments were served at 11 o'clock and (lancing was again resumed. Si ERR Y THEATRE W. S. Allison, a well known La Grande business man, has repurchased the Mammoth Grocery. This was a business which ho originally started and he retired from it on account of ill health.
