Beobe, 1607 6th st. l-27-3t One Car Arrives Today and Is Being Delivered Conservatively More Are Coming. Baker, Ore., Jan. 27. (Special.) Another car of coal arrived in Ba ker yesterday and with the several that have arrived recently, this is ex pected still further to remove any dan ger of a famine for the time being. Other shipments are also known to be on the way to Baker, and will arrive during the week. The dealers, however, are still con serving their supply for as yet they say they have not enough of the fuel to satisfy all orders completely. By means of personal letters and telegrams Baker's condition has been brought to the attention of the mine operators and they are now said to be giving special attention to the fill ing of order from Baker. It . is feared, however, that the stormy conditions in Wyoming may possibly hold up shipments for the next few days. The mails have been delayed today, and the passenger trains are very irregular. No. 5, due at 7:55 o'clock last even ing, passed through Baker at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon; No. 17, dt at 6:40 o'clock this morning, and No. 19 due at 9:45 o'clock last evening, will arrive here together at about 7:25 o'clock onight No. 5 and No. 19 for tonight have been annulled.
