torpriso Record Chiftaii. says:

F. and the Knights of Pythias, are
making plans to build homes for their, '
own use during the coming season.
The Odd Fellows have contemplated
such a move for a couple of years but
did not make a start until recently
when they bought of Mrs. Emily Wil
son 42 feet of ground fronting on .
Main street, at the southwest corner
of West Third, or Depot street, pay
ing $550. This lot lies immediately
west of the corner owned by Daniel
Boyd and formerly occupied by him'
as a home.
The plans as now in mind are to
construct a building something after ,
the model of the Carnegie library,
with a half basement for dining rooms
and social purposes, and an upper
floor for lodge hall, waiting rooms,
etc., The building -would be exclusive
ly for the use of the Odd Fellows,
and no part would, be rented out to
any other organization.
As the lodge visnes to ereci me
building as early as possible, it is
probable it will be of frame construc
tion. .1
