(By Mail) Italy' war today lies heavily on the hearts of many American girls married to Italian noblemen. Some of these girls! have given their husbands, other their sons to Savoiu's cause. Princess Buoncampagni, who was Miss Draper of Boston and Washing ton, is spending a lonesome honey moon here. Her husband had to re join his regiment immediately on his arrival in Rome. Count Dentice del Frasso is one of the general staff's motorcycling mes sengers. His wife was Georgians Wilde of St. Louis. She is the step daughter of Henry Seigel, the ons time American merchant prince. Princess Allesandro Ruspoli has two sons under arms. One is in the army and the other in the navy. She was formerly Eva Broadwood. Countess Telfener, who was Ada Hungerford, has a son in the army. Edward Kingsland, who became an Italian citizen after his widowed mother married Prince Cam'poreale, has been dangerously vounded at the front. He is a cavalry officer and was decorated for gallant conduct in both the Lybian war and this war. Prin cess Camporeale originally was Mary Benney, a celebrated New Jersiv belle. The son of the Duchess Luigi Lante dellaRovere is serving with the Italian troops in Macedonia. He is called Don Luigilante della Rovere. The duchess was known to American society in Mathilde Davis. One of the sons of Princess Pogpia Suaso Ruspoli is an aviator. The oth er is in the automobile service. She was formerly Josephine Curtis of New York. All these titled Americans are also doing their own bit for their adopted country. Red Cross nursing and car-1 ing for widowed and orphaned chil-j dren are the most popular services.
