Bandits Kill and Rob Martins Ferry, Mich., Sent. 9. Two . bandits held up and killed Lee Ran kin, superintendent of a coal company here, this morning. They took $12, 000. iRankin was riding in a taxi with monev for the miners and the holdup took place at a grade crossing three , miles distant. Two foreigners ordered the taxi driver to halt. Rankin immediately jumped from the taxi, suspecting foul play, but he was shot down as he was running. He bled to death. Bloodhounds are trailing the bandits. BANG! BOOM! BANG!
