Armol Duckett, who has been em ployed in the railroad machine shops at Sacramento, has returned to La urande. 'Ernest Vehrs motorcycled to Fly creek yesterday and spent the dav with other La Granders who jour neyed thitherward. Mrs. Pearl Baker and Mrs. Lena Roe, of Payette, Idaho, are visitors in La Grande and are the guests of Mrs. Ethel Roe, of South La Grande.
