spent three years engraving the
Lord's Prayer on the head of a pin.
Had he not been thus engaged he
might have been up to some foolish

Dr. Ira Beeman, nephew of Dr. An
drew C. Smith, well known physician
of Portland, has been in La Grande a
few days looking over the eastern
Oregon territory and now is taking in
