of horses. The circuit has far more
attraction that tihe Northwest State
fair races. The horses entered have
less jumps to make, have better con
ditions generally, are protected by
ironclad and business like rules and
management, and on the whole the as
sociation has attractions to harness
and running horse owners that Salem,
Spokane, Seattle and the other big
circuits cannot duplicate. Race men
who have studied the conditions from
the angle of uninterested parties, pro
nounce everything genuinely in favor
of a most successful event. The

to compete in the La Grande races
