People who travel in what is known as the Gekeler lane cannot fail to be impressed with the stately row of trees on the south side and which ex tend their branches almost across the road. Eugene, Or., June 1. Miss Ruth Guppy, dean of women of the Uni versity of Oregon for the past four years, will tender her resignation to the board of regents tomorrow.
