Petrova, the gifted Polish, ac tress, in the stellar role, will be seen on the screen here at the Sherry thea tre tomorrow only. Mme. Petrova is surrounded by an excellent supporting cast. "The Soul Market" is an absorbing story of life behind the scenes in a Broadway thea tre, and the attending gay life along the Great White Way. It is i trus picture of conditions in New York, and the storv carries a moral of no un certain quality and strength. It promises to be one of the most inter esting features of uie season. "The Black Orchid" exploits British army life in India. There is a strong and unusual plot dealing with a charmer of men who applies her tal ents in a British army post. How fin ally her toying with love proves her undoing, is convincingly portrayed in this drama. There is a wild animal punch in this story, whitdi will be found most unusdil and TOost exciting.' SOUL MARKET' At Sherry's Sunday. The thrills .of "The Iron Strain," Thomas H. Ince's Alaska love romance in the second Triangle program at the Arcade on Sunday, are not simulated ones. This play was staged in na ture's own environment of roiling mountains, magnificent forests, crys tal streams and cerulean skies. While they were in the wilderness Miss Mar key wandered alone from the lodge to the summit nearby to obtain by moon light a view of the wonderful scenery. As she descended the moon hid behind a cloud, and she began to wander about in circles. Her protracted b-1 sence wns nrst noticed by Mamma Eagle Feather, a real Indian squaw who helps in the kidnaping of Enid in the stage story. Mamma Eagle Feather ,slippj quietly away in the darkness without giving alarm to the rest of the party. The nged squaw traced the little lend ing woman's imprints to the point where Miss Markey had lost her way. (Louise Fazenth) to the kniirht, who naturally prefers the young and pret ty daughter (Cccie Arnold.) This altar is . an elaborate piece of structural work. I The building of it required two weeks ! and is said to be among the most im posing of the settings used by Ince. The priest is a warm friend of the Inceville players and willingly lends a helping hand when authentic informa tion dealing with Catholicism is neeed ed.
