The fines and forfeitures from old cases amounted to $170.00 for the week. : ' The Recorder collected $170.00 finas and forfeitures; $20.30 interest Dis 'trict No. 8-A; $.60 for one building permit and $3.00 for dog licenses. He , issued one warrant on general fund fox $50.00 for balance of cost of audit. ; , , The Treasurer received $27.90 wat er rent; $355.12 Imp. District Install ments; $160.97 Imp. District Interest; $2.50 interest Imp. District No. 88; $1.00 for two electrical permits; $55 for pool table license, and $3291.34 taxes from the County Treasurer. He paid $345.00 Imp. District Interest; $213.80 water warrants with $.88 in terest on same; $90.28 General war rants- with $11.90 interest on same; $54.35 Road warrants with 52.67 in terest on same. These transactions hark back to the time when water and road warrants were not dash. The above warrants were held with Gen eral fund warrants. Interest on them ceased long ago. Many holders of warrants overlook the fact that only General fund warrants are not cash.
