CLARK KIMBALL YOUNG IN "CAM1LLE" 'World Film Corporation presents Clara Kimball Young, the most beau tiful and accomplished motion picture artist in the world, in a picturita tion of Alexandre Dumas' famous play "The Lady with the Camellias." Camilla has obtained her name by popular assignment she was called ike "lady with the camellias" after her fondness for those flowers prop erly she was Marguerite Gautier, a girl with a bad reputation. But what mattered it? She was lovely and popular. There was a young Count, with millions, at her feet. Yet she did not love him. It was Armand, the young country lawyer who won her heart. For a time there was happiness between the pair. Then Armand's father per suaded her to give up the boy, Camille reverted to- de Vnrville. Armand and de Varville fought a duel; and Marguerite died of a broken heart, not hdwever, before making it plain that she really loved Armand. Paul Capellani, plays 'the part of Armand. N M., flrom the arms of ibis wife' and shot him, was told here Wednesday by Dr. L. H. Walker, who received a let ter giving details of the Columbus massacre. The Walker killed at Columbus was a brother of Dr. Wal ker, who is an Ellensburg physician, Walker had been married but four weeks and Jie and his wife were dele gates to a Sunday school convention at Columbus. When the Villista ban dits entered the Central hotel they compelled Walker to leave his room and "go downstairs to shake hands with the captain." A few minutes later Mrs Walker heard the shots wWch killed hen husband and the pro prietor of the hotel. The bandits fired the hotel and Mrs. Walker was saved from death in the flames by customs riders who low ered her from on upper window on a rope made of sheets. Dr. Walker has received a telegram stating that his brother was buried at Flayas, 4where 'anotihier brother still lives. The Norman lee Cream company was organized several years ago en tirely by local capital. : Several thous and dollars will be spent by this com pany in opening a new plant, which, it iB expected, will be ready for opera tion within a fortnight. In tho past the splendid possibilities for making high grade creamery butter from the cream supply of Wasco .county have not been taken advantage of, with the exception of the small Mountain Valley- creamery. t , The new company plans to employ a large force of men, who will work under the direction of expert butter and ice cream makers.
