Two Carloads of Oranges and One of
Bananas Come to One Firm,
La Grande has demonstrated her
self to be a .great vegetable-consuming
community. 'A couple of weeks
ago retailers gasped when a carload
of mixed vegetables was brought to
La Grande now another mixed car
load lot has come. This guarantees
plenty of crisp fresh vegetables for
tomorrow's shopping.
Furthermore two carloads of orang
es another record-breaking stunt
pulled by the LaGrande Fruit Co.
have been brought to La Grande for
March consumption.. Also, a carload
of bananas came with the lot, making
four carload lots brought in by one
firm this week.

Baker, March 8. Six Eastern Ore-
bon'sand Washington National forests
and 673,600 head of stock were repre
sented today at a meeting held in the
Mirtam Natnonal forest offices in this
city, when forest supervisors gather
ed to bdjust inter-forest grazing pre
ferences. Several hundred cases were
investigated and adjusted.
