T1IKDA KARA IN "DESTRUCTION" AT SHERRYS TODAY ONLY This photoplay, which was written by Nixola Daniels and directed by W. S. Davis, deals with the soul-consuming miseries of the workers ex ploited by a certain capitalist class. And yet the production is not de pressing or anti-capital in its tone, for it is lightened by subtle comedy touches and it heralds the dawn of a greater spirit of consclencioimness between employer and employee . "Destruction" is an educational photoplay; educationul from the ar tisan's viewpoint as well as from that of the studont of economics. Were it not for the dramatic story woven throughout its many scenes, it. might pass for one of the greatest of indus trial films, for much of its action takes place I n one of the largest stool mills in Iho country. Tho blending cf the industrial and the narrative sides of tht. picture, however, is ex ceptionally wi'll done and neither suf fers the'-eby. AT THE ARCADE. GERAU)INI3 KARRAR IN TEMP TATION. . Gone is the thirst for excitement, the shrug and smirk of the adventuress, and instead is the deep affection, sympathy and respect of a. sincere womnn. Mia Farra.r showed her wnmlnrfnl nltilitv us a dramatic actress in "Cawmon," and sue us still more wonderful in "Tihe Temptation."
