Biggers were charming hosts to a dozen or so neighborhood couples at a house dancing party at their spacious home. 1508 First street. In the Central school about 60 mothers and teachers were in attendance, and 18 new members were taken into the association. CLUB AFFAIRS Last evening guests for 10 tables were entertained when the Kaffee Klatch was in session at the M. K. Hall home on Second street with Dr. and Mrs. Hall and Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Scroggin as hosts. Constance and Gwyndolyn Hall and Adelaid Scrog gin assisted in receiving and serving. The attire of these little misses was in: kseping with the general co:or scheme. This club was only recently organized. "Grandma" Munra, who is now 85 years old, is reported to be critically ill at Eugene. The cause of hei trouble is a fall from a folding chair which collapsed and the venerable lady's head was injured in the fall. 1 "Grandma" Munra is known to prac-'l ticany everybody m the northwest. For a long time she conducted the log cabin eating station at Meacham, and her services in behalf of the trav eling public have been recognized in the way of annual passes over all the lines of the Harrimah system.
