His topic was "The WANT ATTORNEY SUSPENDED. Serious Charge Placed Against Law yer of Baker. .Baker. Jan. 21. Alleging that Paul C. Dormitzer, acauitted during the last term of circuit court ' on - the charge of obtaining money under false pretenses, is bringing tfhe practice of law in Baker county, into disrepute through disregard of the ethics of the profession, District Attorney Godwin filed this morning a petition with Cir cuit Judge Anderson asking , that Dormitzer's privilege of practicing law be suspended. Specific charges of passing worth less checks, debauchery, attempting to intimidate city officials into giving up prisoners, coaching prisoners in the county jail to testify falsely and encouraging litigation, are made in the petition. : "It seems to me that this man has v'olrted his oath as an attorney, in which even the public should be pro tected, Mr. Goodwin said this morn ing. "The proceedings will clear the matter up." Mr. Godwin asserted that he filed the petition, not in his capacity as district aorney. but as a private pracitioner.
