Adv. Sloth Bear Calls Police New York. Dec. 15. While Lieu, tenant Farley, of the arsenal police station Central Park, was sitting at his desk he heard the shrill blasts of a police whistle coming from the direc tion of the bear cages. Remembering the many times that incautious per sons were clawed by the polar bears when they ventured too close, he sent the policemen on station houHe duty on the run. On the way the party was joined by Head Keeper Bill Snyd er and Jim Coyle, who has charge of the bears. Armed with clubs brooms and pitch forks, they charged on the bear cage further than the order calls for, they must do it with gasoline bought at their own expense. MrRockefeller figures they won't do that long. Delinquent Corporations Urged . Salm, Or., Doc. 14. Corporation Commissioner Schulderman is writ ing corporations, delinquent in 'their license fees, urging them to make payments by the first of the year. He estimates that the delinquent fees will total $20,000. The corporations who are two years in arrears and who fail to pay by the first of tho year, will be reported to the governor with the request that he dissolve tnem. . . No man or woman who eats meat regu larly can moke a mistake by flushing the kidneys occasionally, says a well known authority. Meat forms uriq acid which clogs the kidney pores so they luggishly filter or strain only part of the waste and poisons from the blood, then you get sick. Nearly all rheuma tism, headaches, liver trouble, nervous neu, constipation, dimness, sleeplessness, bladder disorders come from sluggish kid neys. The moment you feel a dull ache in the kidneys or your back hurts, or if the urine is cloudy, offensive, full of sedi ment, irregular of passage or attended by a sensation of scalding, get about four ounces of Jad Salts from any reliable pharmacy and take a tablespoonful in a glass of water before breakfast for a few days and your kidneyB will then act fine. This famous salts is made from the -acid of grapes and lemon juice, com bined with lithia and has been used for generations to flush clogged kidneys and stimulate them to activity, also to neu tralize the acids in urine so it no longer causes irritation, thus ending bladder dis orders. Jad Salts is inexpensive and can not injure; makes a delightful effer vescent lithia-water drink which all Teg-! ular meat caters should take now and then to keep the kidneys clean and the blood pure, thereby avoiding serious kid- j ney complications. j ABERDEEN Blatchfords Calf Meal Shady Brook Alfalfa & Molasses Conkey's Poultry Remedies SAWYER & CLARK COMPANY, Phone M 17 Corner Jefferson & Greenwood Streets.
