Urick, state labor commissioner, an nounced he will co-operate with seven other states in supplying harvest hands to farmers, as soon as the froe employment bureau is in operation July 4. It was authorized by the 36th general assembly which recently ad journed. A plan has been adopted by which the harvest hands will com mence work in the fields of Oklahoma in the middle of. June, then proceed to Kansas and Nebraska, then Iowa and the Dakotas and Minnesota and finish the season,; in Canada. It is proposed to have the employment bu reaus of eight midwestern states take charge of these men and pass them on from state to state. University of Michigan Festival. Ann Arbor, Mich., May 20. Three artists of world fame are billed to day to participate in the annual "May Festival" of the University of Michi gan School of Music, which started here yesterday. Thejr are John Mc Cormick, the great Irish tenor, Mme. Ober, the Metropolitan opera - star, and Harold Bauer, Master pianist.
