Sunday and visited with W. V. Connor

Mrs. William Wiggans spent part
of the week with her mother and other
relatives in Elgin.
Rav Norval is excavating for a
foundation preparatory to the erection
of a modern home on his ranch near
Imbler.
The fencing for the school ground
has arrived and will be erected at
once, a wovem wire fence in front and
a board fence at the rear. ;
- Frank Conklin, -wno was almost re
covered from a light form of mumps,
began work too ''soon and has had a
serious backset.
Thomas Ruckman is moving his
dwelling across the street to give the
workmen a clear held in erecting his

Rev. Maxey, the gospel dispenser of
Alicel, was exchanging greetings with
former co-workers here Monday. He
has a plan to attempt changing league
ball to Saturday, by building up the
half-holiday plan. If it can be made
to succeed, no doubt much present op
position will disappear.
