Mr. Bornenmann is well known in Island City and throughout the coun ty, and it is expected he will conduct a very successful school campaign the coming season. ... . : Sunday the Perry Baseball team went to Haines, and there defeated the Haines pluyers nine to six. It was a hard fight, but the Perry boys have had some strenuous training of late and' are in shape to do some excellent work. ' . . I Lycsum Ticket Holders Admitted Minstrel Sparkles With Fun; A good ticket sale, and the number cf lyceum season tickets out, insure a food crowd for the presentation of the Y. M. C. A. minstrels tonight at the . high school auditorium. Every pai t is letter perfect and the sinning goes with a fine zip all the way. The jokes are fresh and clean, the olio and side issues, are first-class and all in all the program is one of merit. The curtain rises at 8:15 this even ing.. From that moment until the finale chorus, there is going to be something to entertain every minute of the show. Holders of lyceum num ber tickets should remember that they can gain admittance with them. The cash admittance for those who don't hold tickets is very reasonable and the Y. M. C. A. gets the surplus re ceipts after expenses are paid. The scat sale has been conducted at the Red Cross Drug store.
