Easter anthems will be Bung, cantatas delivered, Easter bon nets worn, and throughout it all plenty of music in the churches. Min isters have chosen fitting themes for the occasion, Various services of more than pass ing moment are scheduled. The Knights . Templar service, annual Easter services they are, prescribed by ritual, will be the big feature. These will be held at the Presbyterian church and Rev. W. S. Seemann, D. D., now of Portland but at one time pas tor of the Presbyterian church here, will deliver the address of the day. The public is welcome to be present. At the Presbyterian church Sun day evening, a cantata will be given that centers about Easter music, tha Lh u. b. nave special Easter services, the Christian likewise, the Methodists, the Catholics and the Episcopaleans are all to give special attention to the day in a music way The M. E. church South will confine,- its Easter services to an Easter candyegg hunt by the Sunday school, and the Bap tists expect to reserve their strength for Children's day a little later on. The city's best musical talent will be employed tomorrow. Seldom, if ever, has so much stress been laid on Easter as this year, and practical ly every choir in the city has given itself over to special music of appro priate grade Following are the church announce ments and the musical numbers in each church, to be heard in La Grande churches tomorrow: A morning watch will be the fea ture of the Epworth league Easter services at the Methodist church.
