' neighborhood some. time, ago, was a
caller in the vicinity yesterday greet
ing old friends. He is preparing to
live in the vicinity of Gooding, Idaho.
Mrs. E. M. Murphy is on the sick
list with the rest of our "grippers"
. and "mumpers" because the March
winds blow a deal colder than folks
are aware. -.v ,.
A number of our people wnt to
La Grande to hear the Negro jub
ilee singers and -report that thev
were very flno entertainers. The Ep-
worth league of La Grande can be
complimented on bringing such class

The eight-horse power gas engines
will soon be seen pulling the "gangs"
in place of horse flesh in our neigh
borhood which believes in advance
ment. You need not be surprised

aeroplane making weekly tips and
trips from here to La Grande.
