Being First Break . in the Schedule. The break in the schedule of the Amateur basketball league tonight is the first since the league started and because no double headers had been provided for this week, there will be no game tonight. After next week double headers are scheduled, and in the event that conditions arise neces sitating postponement, of one of the games, there will be another match left to present, and it is likely that after tonight there will be no further complete., breaks in the schedule. The cause of the postponement to night is that the. high school squad leaves tomorrow morning for the Nnih ; Tomorrow niirht thev nlav Wallowa, and a stiff game is prom ised. If the team is to be defeated on the trip, it will be Wallowa, no doubt, that will do it Friday they play Enterprise and Saturday, Josepn. Pendleton, Jan. 26. Having won back the honors lost in La Grande, the Pendleton bowlers will tonight try to trounce the Walla Walla; team, which defeated them by a narrow margin in that city last week. . The Walla Walla bowlers will arrive this afternoon and the match wil begm shortly after 8 o'clock in the Bunga low alleys. Last evening Pat Me Devitt and Fred Book defeated Loren Hoover and "SpeedbaU". Humphries in a match game, the score being 1139 to 1907.
