While receipts were not quite as
heavy Monday morning as a week
ago, still a total of 9605 head of live
stock came In. This is not a record
.but counts as one of the best driys in
. the history of the local yards. Sales
were brisk and prices were well main
tained. More than 28000 head were
disposed of up to 11:30 his morning,
and at that, time it looked as though
the sales would reach a record.
