The Herald says Bullock, Russell and Sweeney of Wal la wialla bought vo head ot horses here Tuesday and Wednesday for the French army. The prices paid were $120 for heavy artillery and $90 for cavalry horses. They selected 76 out of a total of 210 head examined.
