Socially and musically, La Grande I looks forward with much interest to the coming of the University of Ore-! gon Glee club tomorrow night at Sherry's .theatre. The seat sale is now under way at the Red Cross, While the students are in the city they are to be liberally entertained at fted by Eugene students who are home for the holidays, and by alumni in La Grande. ' - Under the strict guidance of Di rector Ralph Lyman, head of the mu sic department of the university, the dub has been perfected and is far better than has ever been staged be fore...;. Albert Gillette, the boy Reebo of Eugene, who pleased the audience so much last year, will appear again in solo work arid also in the quartet. The personnel of the quartet is Henry Heidenreich, a local boy, also president of the club, Ralph Lyman, director, Ajlbert Gfclette, and Paul j-t a SI v. tt i oprague, a lormer uruuieu univer sity star. This quartette is equal to any on the Lyceum or Chatauqua circuits. ' Mr. L. A. Apperson the musical j phone selections of rare quality. . Perhaps the most pleasing of all features-is the skit in which Merlin Batley, a former La Grande boy and Bert Girard of Pendleton, appear.
