Presents for the Sunday School children will be distri buted and Christmas joy and good will made to rule for the evening. There will be a Christmas service on Christmas day at 11 a. m. At the M. E. Church South. The Christmas program will be carried out commencing at 7:30 Thursday evening. The Sunday school will naye general supervision, una the program will be made up of drills, songs, duets, dialogues. There will bo about 145 children at the services and candv and nuts will be given to each. In addition to the sweetmeats, there will be a little present for each Sunday school member. Christian Program Tonight. The Christian church is to have an old fashined Christmas tree tonight with a real Santa Claus. Children are prepared to entertain the public with a cantata, music, recitation, pnnto mine. The entire program prom ises to be one that will be very en tertaining; and best of all old Santa will come down the chimney in plain sight of all and, as usual, dispense with his gifts in a way satisfactory to all the children, ah are welcome to come. Two services have been arranged for at St. Peter's Church on Christ mas day. The first and principal one will be at midnight, Christmas Eve. At this service the choir will be vested and full musical parts ren dered. At nine a- m., there will be a second Eucharist, for those who can not attend at midnight.
