Johns, abstractor nndi attorney of Pendle ton, called on the county court Mon day with a proposal to purchase the entire delinquent tax roll of Baker county. Efforts to collect on . the delinquent taxes have been un availing in the past and the com pany which Mr. Johns represents is making a business of collecting such accounts with profit both to the coun ty and to itself. The commissioners took no action but will confer fur ther with Mr. Johns, whose company paid $111,400 for the delinquent roll of Union county covering back taxes up to 1912. j Market report says: "London for sees easier money."
