From one o'clock on today, banking commercial and many other en terprises were halted that the citi zens of La Grande might go to the 'wild west show this afternoon. Roosevelt Due Back Today. New York, June 24. Colonel Roose velt, who attended the wedding of his son Kermit and Miss Belle Wyatt Willard in Madlrid, was expected back here today. Upon his arrival or short ly after, the former President, and leader of the Progressive party was expected to make some declaration of principles on the big issues which have developed since he left for his exploration tour in South America. Upon his return from Brazill and just before his departure for Madrid, the Cplonel declared he would not talk any kind of politics until his return here. An important matter which he will be called upon to discuss will bi the recent public announcement by Amos Pinchot to George W.
