Trenton, N. J., June 23. Governor Fielder and Adjutant General W. F. Sadler todUy received the three Mas sachusetts members! of the Sons of the American Revolution who are making the trip to Cambridge over the same route taken by Gen. George Washington 139 years ago. With ap propriate ceremonies a tablet com memorative of Washington's stop here will be unveiled tomorrow at St Michael's church. The party goes from here to Princeton where the members will be received by Presi dent John G. Hibben, of the Uiiver. sity. Baker sent its delegation to the La Grande convention today in the num ber of 20. Some came by train and others by machine but all were ap piopriately bedecked with Baker col ors. The delegation was not expect ed until tomorrow and their arrival this morning was a surprise to local -committees. Miss Josephine Spaeth and Miss Edna Rose of Parma, Idaho are in the city after having spent some time in Portland visiting friends. Detroit, Mich., June 23. Members of the Michigan Banker's association assembled today in Detroit prepara tory to embarking late this afternoon on the D. & C. steamer City of De troit II., where they will hold their twenty-eighth annual convention whiel the vessel is cruising to the up per lakes and return. About 3000 members will make the trip. Stops will be made at Alpena to morrow, where the association mem bers will be the gue'sts for the day of the Alpena bankers, at Traverse City, on June 25, where similar entertain ment will be provided, and at Mac kinac Island, on June 26, the bank ers will return to Detroit next Sat. urday. Fish Car Comes Again.
