In the complaint is a long list of the personal property which Mr. Fones alleges he bought and which, he asserts is withheld from him. This includes horses, cattle, hogs, wagons, hacks, plows, harrows, cultivators, blacksmith outfit, harness, grain, hay, household goods and other articles found on a large farm. . Service in this action was obtained on Mr. Murdock and Harry, his son, last week in Wallowa, where they ap peared to assist in the prosecution of Mr. Fones and his associates on the charge of criminal trespass. This trial was before a jury in Justice R. McCrae's court. The three defend antsMr. Fones, George Downing and C. E. Downing were found guilty. Cities nearby are already well represented, and the morning delegation from Portland was bigecr than at first anticipated. Tne general sessions are hold in the Methodist church and entertainment is cared for in the variour homed hotels and restaurants.
