Tbe cattle market yesterday morning showed up weaker than at any time in two weeks, $7.50 being quoted by the yard officials as the top price obtainable on prime light steers. The market is fluctuating considerably on account of the receipt of poor stuff, and this, in very large measure, accounts for the low- top price today. ; Hogs continue steady, with $8.05 as top. Sheep hold at the same price as has been in, effect for the last week. . Receipts showed a marked improve ment over yesterday's and were: 83 cattle, 13 calves, 612 hogs and 4, 871 sheep, a total of 46 cars. Following are today's La Grande market quotations: CATTLE.
