The dog n uzzling ordinance passed last year became operative again this morning, and the police department has ser ved warning long since that there is going to be a slaughter of canine3 uiiless the law is lived up to. Any "ag that keeps on the premises of his master is perfectly safe even though it has no muzzle on, but any "daschund" that dares to venture out on the street, is liable to meet up with a dog funeral procession. Farmers are ' notified to be watch ful of this law too, for the police de partment has instructions to draw no line between farm dog and city deg, for the simple reason that it is usually hard to distinguish between the two.
