Many Big Clips to Be Disposed of Monday it Is Believed. Enterprise, - May 29. The first large sealed bid sale of wool held in the county for some years will take place in Enterprise on Monday. The pooled clips of J. H. Dobbin, F. W. Falconer and C. B. Daugherty, 25, 000 'fleeces, will be sold, at the ware house. Last year these growers con signed, their WPPl to Boston,, but the, condition of the present market in-1 duced" them to have a formal sale. ' Buyers from most of the large Bos- J ton houses are expected to bid. - ! Wool has been very quiet in the ccu:ity ;ince the early sales. Two weeks ago Walter Boner sold the 1 clip from his 1400 fleeces to E. W. j Rumble at a reported price of 17 1 cents. W. G., Beith sold 1600 fleeces ' to J. A. Funk for , 16 5-8. L. -C. " Johnson's wool from 6000 fleeces was ' divided between Mr. Funk, and Frank ArClarke at 16 1-2 cents. A few' small ranch clips have been sold since then, but the large sheep own ers have held back. The D. & M. wool will not be sold, 1 it is reported, until it is shorn. Shearing will begin the latter part of next week. Peter Beaudoin will start shearing next week. This wool will I be consigned, according to present expectations. The Johnson shearing plants also will start soon. I About the only . wool that has been hauled to the warehouse to date is that from the Dobbin, Fal coner and Daugherty sheep. .This has come in from W. H. Durham's Swamp Creek shearing plant. The wool wagons drawn by six horse teams with bells on the leaders have been less frequent this spring than for years past. Chamberlain's Liniment.
