Clerk to Have Books Down Town for
Last Time Tomorrow Night.
At the close of registration laat
Saturday, the figures for the differ
ent parties stood as follows: Repub
licans 1753, Democrats, 1256; Pro
gressives 124; Socialists 142; Prohi
bition, 197; Independent, 117; Non
Partisan, 14; Refused to state, 2. This
makes a total for last Saturday of
8,605. Since then about a hundred
more have registered which brings the
total to date to 3,705.
This is several hundred above the
registration for last year, but in view
of the fact that women have suffrage
this year this is not up to the mark.
In fact the registration could be
about 6000 for this time and not be
Kceasive. The figures as given mean
that about 500 women have registered,
which is , but a small percentage of
those -who are entitled to cast a bal

respect, it may be said that tomor
row night will be the last night on

opportunity of registering, will have
to be sworn in at the pools. As this
