Thermometer Goes Down to 30 De
grees During Last Night.
The government thermometer show
ei a 'minimum drop of 30 degrees last
night, according to bulletins posted
by observer Benham today. It is re
ported 'that some fruit was frozen in
the neighborhood of Summerville, but
it is admitted to be a little early to
predict 'the percentage of damage
done, if any.

Round-up fame, has just died from
injuries received while performing at

E. J. A. E. and C. J. Morris, the
latter of Boise, and the former two
of this city, are going to take over
the ice cream and candy stand in the
Newlin. Drug store for the summer
and make this an important part of
the business. They announce that
they wjjl make their own candy and
ice cream, and that they will cater
largely to parties and picnic trips,
etc., They are now conducting a
candy making establishment in the
city and hope to make this a first
class industry. The Boise brother of
the firm is a practical candy maker,
having served his apprenticeship in a
large candy factory of Boise where he
learned the intricacies of the making
of the candy. In a statement this
morning, E. J. Morris who is now
connected with the dispensing depart
ment of the Newlin Store, asserts
that they would' strive to get. tie i k
