It is peopled with a peculiar people who have ' been brought up in the revolutions that have infested the so-called republic. They are fighting people, but fight differently from Americans. Thoirs is a peculiar warfare. It is of the kind that lasts for years; the kind that sneaks in the dark and lurks in every movement. So, when tho boys enlist they will likely see service. And those who would know about good roads will have a good chance to learn something of real conse quence when King, tho road drag man, visits Union county.
