Mumford of Wallowa re turned to his home today after vis iting with his father, J. B. Mumford, of Pendleton, who has been quite ill. He reports him much better. Mrs. Jno. Shay of this city was called to Baker this morning on ac count of the serious illness of Mr. Jno. Corbett stepfather of Mr.Shay. He is., reported to be very low and not expected to live. General Manager J.- P. O'Brien and Acting General Superintendent B. E. Palmer will arrive this evening for an inspection of the 0. W. track and other equipment. They are on a gen eral trip if inspection of the track and equipment of the entire division. FISHING BRINGS BIG ONES. Wallowa Streams Do Not Show Big Marks But Big Fish.
