FAMILY PEACE DIVORCE REFUSED TO PARENTS OF INFANTS. Judge Knowles Advises Quarreling Family to Make Peace. . . CircuitJudge J. W. Knowles last evening laid down some vital princi ples for quarreling families with chil dren when he denied a divorce to Nel-. lie Walls from Lewie WUs . The case had occupied two days and ende with a denial of divorce and some admonition to the princi pals in the case. The parties have two inlfant children, one a baby of about 10 months, and the other, but little odder. . Th plaintiff alleged cruel and iithuniSfi treatment but the court found insufficient evidence to justify decree of divorce. ,i Judge Knowles in refusing the decree' lW that where parties have brought chil dren into the world that these children should ako fee considered and that the home should be protected first and the sanctity of the marriage vows not lightly cast aside, especially so ,when the father and mother have ' minor family difficulties only. ' The defendant expressed the desire that his wife return to him and the court earnestly urged the parties, by reason . of their obligation to their children, to endeavor to cast aside difficulties and "Join hands again for the sake of the children."
